Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have won the Ligue 1 title for the third time in four seasons, after defeating Lyon 2-1 at the Parc des Princes on Sunday night.

The victory was PSG's fourth consecutive league title and came despite being outplayed by their rivals in many areas of the pitch. However, they were able to hold on to their lead with two late goals from Edinson Cavani and Neymar Jr., who scored his 40th goal of the season.

Lens, meanwhile, finished runners-up in the competition, having lost out to PSG in the final matchday. The team will be happy with their performance this season, as they finished just one point behind their rivals.

Despite the disappointment of losing out on the title, Lens' coach Jocelyn Gourvennec said that he is proud of his players for their efforts throughout the campaign.
