Bayer Leverkusen secured their fourth win in five Bundesliga matches with a comfortable victory over TSG Hoffenheim at the BayArena on Sunday.

The hosts took the lead after just two minutes when Moussa Diaby fired home from close range after a corner. The Frenchman then doubled their advantage six minutes later when he pounced on a loose ball to score his second goal for the club.

In the second half, Bayer Leverkusen continued to dominate and scored twice more through Thomas Müller and Timo Werner. Werner's goal was particularly impressive as he cut inside from the right flank before slotting past Hoffenheim goalkeeper Jan Oblak.

The result means that Bayer Leverkusen now sit top of the Bundesliga table with 15 points from four games, while TSG Hoffenheim remain bottom with just one point from seven.

It is clear that Bayer Leverkusen have hit form at the right time and will be looking to continue their winning run against a struggling Hoffenheim side. Meanwhile, TSG Hoffenheim will need to regroup quickly and look to turn their fortunes around if they want to avoid further relegation this season.
